The chef and sommelier Ricardo Gil and his wife Maria Pilar Vicente run this pretty, well known restaurant. They take great care in the selection of the best vegetables they cook with, quality is their biggest worry. They even make different studies of the local varieties, about their growing and cooking techniques, with vegetables collected from their own gardens. Wine is the other issue Ricardo is crazy about, as its wine list shows with more than 300 different choices. These wines are all tasted and renovated very often by the sommeliers in order to offer its guests the newest and best ones. 33’s cooking is elegant, sometimes sophisticated and always creative, based on tradition and devoted for the “savoir faire cuisine”: tasty meat, aromatic fish dishes, and a renovated version of this area’s former confectionery.
