Hostel-Restaurant Casa Ignacio - Pichorradicas

The chef Fermín Reta and his wife Sandra Pérez, maître, run this emblematic restaurant, known before as “Casa Ignacio”. The menu is a great delight for the lovers of the vegetables of this area: lettuce's hearts, thistle, little onions, beans, artichokes, asparagus, broad beans, peppers of "piquillo"… prepared in many different ways, but always with recipes that exalt the maximum flavour and are respectful with the high quality of the products. The roasted lamb shoulder in bread soup, its fried or baked fishes and its delicate confectionery (an assortment of flavours from the past, taken from ancient recipes, and versioned with the help of the latest cooking technologies) are also very famous. The building, in the old part of the city, has recently been restored, and houses seven guest rooms which combine the traditional building structure with ultramodern decoration and the trendiest technologies.
