The first complete roman amphora found in Navarra was discovered in the fields of this winery; today it is exhibited in the Museum of Navarra. This is real proof of the antiquity of this region’s wine tradition, a thousand-year-old tradition. This winery was opened in 1952. Since then, there have been numerous enlargements that have turned what was once a small winery into a forceful company, which nevertheless continues elaborating its wines by hand. Nowadays, there are three areas of influence on this winery - Cascante, Los Arcos and Sesma - which correspond to three subfields of the D.O. Navarra (Navarra's wine origin designation): "Ribera Baja", "Tierra Estella" and "Ribera Alta". Each region gives its own qualities to these wines, which are commercialized by the following brands: "Malón de Echaide", "Señor de Cascante", "Señorío de Yániz", "Viña Parot", Plandenas and Torrecilla.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a very interesting guided visit, which goes through the different stages in wine's production, from the vineyards to the bottle. We can also find an exhibition room and a shop.
