The village of Ablitas was inhabited by Muslims, Christians and Jews until the
16th century, a melting pot of cultures that left marks in many places around
this small town. For centuries it has been a land of grapevines and olive
groves. The first thing that will amaze us is the Tower of "el
Homenaje", the only vestige of the former medieval castle
that dominated the village in the past. We can visit also the Church of
Santa Maria "Magdalena" remodelled in the 16th century.
