In Cascante we can visit three fine temples: The Church of the Victory,
the Church of the "Asuncion" and the “Basilica
del Romero”. This last one is built in the summit of a hill
and surrounded by gardens. The way to access the temple is by going up the hill
under an impressive arcaded gallery of baroque style, with round arches. The
temple, baroque style too, houses an original Gothic chapel, with an
extraordinary polychrome altarpiece dated from the first half of the XVIth
century.
